Dearest Part Cs

The time has come!!!! It is finally the time for you girls to shine!!!!!!! I'm so proud of all of you and what you girls have become. You are now leaders. So show us what you girls are made of! All of you have to work together to make PRSS NCC (G) unit shine like it once did and i am confident that all of you can do it. All of us are behind you girls all the way. Make sure you are a role model for your cadets and altso one another. Work together and you girls can make wonders. Just like your FSD and shooting competition. First place for both baby!!! But our unit is more than just competition. Standard is very very important, always remember that. The golden rule, tightened boots etc! Never ever forget that.

This time last year we were in Part C and we were gonna be the next NCOs we had the whole unit on our hands. The year went and passed quickly and now, it's your turn. Have as much fun as you can while it lasts! Enjoy every moment you can with one another. Furthermore you 10 girls have been together for the past 3 years. Your bond is stronger than ever never ever ever let anything come between that. One year will pass by quick. Enjoy your time in NCC. Don't ever ever ever give up on NCC. the ncc girls bbq pit took place on the 20th of nov which was like back back back then.
and it was a success!

the food was awesome, we played lots of games such as taboo and charades and had lots of bonding sessions.

we wanna thank the part Bs for making it a success (:
for those who couldnt attend the pit, there's always next year!

Hi Part Bs!

Firstly, we wanna congratulate yguys on your accomplishment. Fyeaaaaaaaaah 1st in Singapore for Part B Shooting Competition! GOLD!!!!!!!! 1st IN SINGAPORE!!!!!!!! Zomg girls you've done us proud! And also to Shahirah for 2nd position, Silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & Ira for 10th position, Bronze!!!!!!!!!!!!! :')

Anw, I want you girls to know that you girls will be stepping up real soon. Part C already. You girls will be taking over the entire unit soon. Each and everyone one of you have the potential to hold leadership roles in NCC. But now you've gotta show us that you deserve it. You have to work to get USM, ASM, to get into Spec Course Phase 1, to be one of the 5 to go to Senior Spec. You girls have to fight for your spot! Always remember your standard, discipline, attitude, sense of urgency! We see a spark of potential in all of you but you have to prove it to us that you deserve it.

We hope that you girls will mantain your standard during the holidays and come back next year better than ever. We expect all of you to shine next year during the last few months under us. Bring back the glory of NCC!

As Semester 1 comes to an end, we greet the June holidays with pzazz! A bittersweet celebration as we say goodbye to our NCOs and invite the upcoming ones on board. Our last training for the term wasn't like any other. It was more special. Celebrating Senior Suhaila's (OMG SENIOR OREDI! ):) sweet sixteen, we hope it was a memorable one.

Forever and always, we will remember the times we spent with you <3 New NCOs, let's kick some butt!

Anyhoo, notices have been posted up outside the NCC rooms (both boys & girls). Do check them out. To the Part As & Bs, there are some courses available for you. The courses are strongly recommended. Do approach Miss Soh if any of you are interested. We encourage all of you to go together. We will ensure you that it will be fun and an enriching experiences.

This may, or may not be the last time that you'll read a post coming from us. Though we do hope it issint our last but you all do know that we're stepping down. When we were in control, i believe you guys may have spotted a lot of our flaws. And i knew, we knew, that trainings could have been better and time could have been more well spent. We apologize if we have hurt any hearts and we were sorry if we have wasted your time. However, i know that we have done our best in making the unit more united and maintained the standard that our previous Seniors have once left us.

NCC have been in our hearts and will remain there for as long as we live. And we will never forget every memories we have as a Cadet and as a Leader. Words maybe deceiving but words that comes from your heart, NOW THAT, is the truth. We hope that the unit will continue to excell in hands of potential leaders. We, too, hope that future leaders of prssnccgirl unit will continue to uphold the positive image that we have been trying to potray. We hope that the leaders will lead the whole unit and make each cadet to a better person.

Each and single one of you, has played a part in our 4 years of NCC. Each and single one of you, has played a role into making the unit a better one. Each and single of you, have contributed so much and we shall not let all of that go to waste! You and me, no matter who we are, we are equally important to NCC. And NCC is equally important to us. It serves us, as a platform to bond, to learn, to make new friends, to discipline, to care and to love. NCC will and shall remain as a huge part of our conversations with the people around us,even in the future.

We wna thank our Seniors for making the person we are today. I wna thank my three other cili padis, who have beeen the one who wiped my tears and shared my worries, who held me strong and constantly remind me to be strong. We wna thank our cadets, who have been giving us their attention and cooperation and the ones who have made our journey as a leader a meaningfull and a heartfelt one. We will never forget what all of you guys have done.

Pardon us, for not being the usm/asm/pc/apc that you guys wished for, we wish we could. We want to remembered as the Leaders who have done their best and not as leaders who have tried their best.

Oh yes! Have you heard the news? Our PRSS FSD TEAM have done brilliantly for the FSD Competition last Saturday, 20th February 2010, clenching the 4th place! Congratulations! We would also like to congratulate Siglap Secondary, Victoria School and Anglican High for the first, second and third place respectively. Our team has done so well, we were so close to beat the Anglican High team. We were just one point away! But don't be disappointed, we did really well. 4th out of 30 schools competing in the East District. It was really worth those trainings and the sacrifice that we made, even during the CNY holidays. A big round of applause!

We have come a long long way, together. And we won't stop. We've gone through a lot of "kenangan pahit dan manis", loosely translated, "bittersweet times". We thank 2009 for a great year. But we have to move on and look into the future (of course, we will never forget 2009, yes?). May this year bring millions of joy to all.

2010 has already started. It's also time for trainings for this year. We had our first training, which was the CCA Bazaar. It was a great success with all the face paints and NCC songs, and we had quite a number of people signing up too! Hooray! Second training was Games Day. I bet all of came back home with body aching all over. The weekends are almost over. I hope all of you had/having a good rest. Especially those after today's run at Bedok Reservoir. Sleep early!

It's been a good 3 months since the year started. So far, things have been good.. but we want perfect right right right? :D Part As, take your time to learn the drills. If you've any clarifications/doubts, do ask okay? We will help you and if you make any mistakes along the way, don't be afraid. Learn from them and you'll be on your way to have perfect drills in future!

Part Bs, continue with your good work. But don't be complacent with whatever good we have.. Maintain it and please show respect to your new specialists. Cooperate with them, and both Part Cs and Bs will have an easier time during trainings!

Lastly, we, Part Ds will be stepping down soon. Most probably end of April. When we're gone, do continue to show your enthusiasm in NCC, polish what you've learnt and shine out from everyone else. We've only got each other to hang on for support, don't leave anyone behind. We're one big family!

Greetings NCC GIRLS. Atiqah here, and it's my first entry on this blog.

First of all, to the wonderful, enthusiastic Part As, welcome to the unit girls! The past few weeks have been great, with each one of you showing interest and enthusiasm in ncc. Hope that you'll continue to develop interest and shine in the next 4 to 5 years in ncc. :)

To the Part Bs, you guys have been great cadets so far. Thank you for those who maintain the regular attendence and even make the effort to come after your remedial lessons on Fridays. You still have a long way to go in your ncc journey. So cooperate with your PCs and shine in your own way. Remember teamwork and team support is important, so don't leave your members behind and continue to work hard and excel. :)

To the Part Cs, we're really appreciative towards those who regularly come for trainings and make the effort to 'hang in there', as quoted by Mr Leong. It's only a few more weeks to your spec course. It's not only among your friends from the unit. You'll be 'competing' with cadets from other schools in the district. Have faith in yourself that you can do it. Do your best and always be confident and don't let negative critisisms bring you down. Sure, you'll feel a bit demoralised.. but take it in your stride and just do it! :)

To the Freestyle-Drill team, just a few more days to the big thing! Just have fun and take it as a learning experience for you. You guys will be just fine. Cooperate with SSG Faizah, alright?
